  • Matt Wheeler - Confusing Math Section

I am not done with the book, but I am not liking the math section so far. I am finding myself stumped on a lot of these example problems. I need more guidance I guess. They start off with the very basics of the concept with some examples questions. Then, they throw much harder versions of the problems that they call "nightmare problems". I'm getting many of these wrong and there are no explanations for them just the answer key. I can go back and reread the section, but it is no help. I am starting to feel like I am wasting my time reading this.

  • LadyLoves Chickens - So far So good!

I ordered the Manuka Honey after a lot of research to find if it actually can help with stomach problems. After reading a few news articles etc... it seems this stuff can really work, so I thought I'd give it a try. I've tried all the doctor's ideas, and it was time for my own.

  • B. H. Rogers - A great EDC tool, and the ultimate Ikea companion

I purchased this knife as a gift to myself last Christmas, since then it has become my favorite carry-knife. There is no noticeable play in the blade when open, and the drivers lock open positively. It's a great alternative to bulkier plier-type multitools when you want to avoid pocket bulges and utility belts. I seem to use it all the time, doing minor household repairs (ie loose screws), opening boxes, and of course opening bottles. I only have three minor issues with the tool. First, the screwdrivers should lock at a 90* angle to allow more torque. Second, the pocket clip should be adjustable for lefties and tip-up carry. Third, the slotted screwdriver should be easier to access with one hand. Other than those minor annoyances, this is an awesome tool.

  • Flensr - nice tablet for kids, great for parents trying to protect kids from bad internet content

Its limited but that's why I like it. Most of the educational games we got for the tablet are a bit more "game" focused than "education" focused, but that's not too bad. There are lots of other options for more full-featured tablets if that's what you want, like the kindle fire kids edition which is awesome but a bit too much for what we want with our kids, regarding media consumption devices. These are fine and the kids (age 2, 6, 7) like them. And if they out-grow their interest in them, they can return to spending their free time with our bookshelf or at the library :)
