  • Amazon Customer - 16 rods---doesn't fold down!

    I googled portable octagon softbox. This came up with many others. It's definitely light enough---but it doesn't fold down! Why!? Who cares how light it is if you can't fold it down. How embarrassing trying to struggle to push the rods in the proper holes (SIXTEEN OF THEM) and then when one pops out and snaps back at you...ugh. (I was photographing for a corporate banks in the state!) So, today I decided to not take it apart and walk in with it---I felt so unprofessional. It's the perfect size and weight. It doesn't fold down though and that just bites! I'm going to give it a whirl ONE more time tomorrow to see if I can adjust to it---otherwise I have to ship it back.
