  • Bluefish - A better description might be "stream of consciousness impressions

Calling the entries in this book "stories" is a bit of a stretch. A better description might be "stream of consciousness impressions." Then if you like that kind of literature I would rate it top notch.

  • A. Mangini - Great Once It Got Itself Going

After a slow painful start, the second half of Season 1 of Goliath increases it pace and suspense. I do not fault BBT whose acting I have continued to enjoy for generations. If this goes to a season 2, then I guess the whale which gobbled BBT as he waded out from Venice Beach will spit him out again and have him stand there again on Venice Beach looking very much in the last shot of the introductory credits I watched for eight episodes, very much like Steve Buscemi in the intros to Boardwalk Empire. Give me a break. The actors led by Billy Bob Thorton, flawed protagonist and William Hurt, flawed and scarred antagonist, all showed strong skill in creating their characterizations of flawed tragic lives making their roles both believable and tolerable. However, the way this plot was strung out is reprehensible, especially in the first half of the season. This whole pursuit should have only taken four hour episodes. In fact, with all that time devoted to delineation of plot, why were there so many unresolved sub-plots. Things could have been tied up better. The locations were well represented: Venice, CA beach, pier, walkway, and canals; Downtown LA for the city and court scenes; and the courtroom which was spectacular. I enjoyed watching Goliath and I welcome more seasons, but Mr. Kelly just has to realize that this new genre of streaming video just doesn't have the give of network tv. So get with the program and get the good stuff to us. You certainly have the competent cast to do that. As far as I am concerned, they are all welcome back. As for your team of writers, not so.

  • Raul Vazquez - Dont be fooled into buying other expensive cables!

I went through a ton of other HDMIs and read the reviews and I think I read on here and on a forum that there wasn't a difference between those expensive cables and this one.

  • stevecas0929 - Fantastic Grip!

I bought this product because I have extremely sweaty hands when going to the gym. Since I enjoy lifting heavy weights, my sweaty hands were very dangerous. My current gym doesnt allow any chalk so I thought would try some liquid Chalk. This product works and will instantly dry your hands for some great grip! its great for people who do not want wear gloves to build strong grips.

  • Mommyof2 - Very Slow

I just bought this for my daughter (shes 4) last night, it took over 1 hour just to download and update when it was finally finished she took it and was asking me whats wrong with is, it is very very slow, going to the home screen, jumping from app to app or anything else you do on this is very slow, just not built right or just rushed to get this out on the market, after 20 minutes she was done with it and hasn't touched it since, I'm bringing it back today and sticking with the leappad 2 for now until we find something else for my daughter to use, some of the 5 star reviews on here were given a free LeapPad Ultra by Leapfrog to use and review, this is a real review it would of been great but this just ruins the whole thing.

  • Jan Carpenter - Yuck!

Very slow moving tale of one sister, recently released from prison, trying to find her step sister. It all boils down to silly and quite unbelievable jaunts from here and there with a man who appears shady at times yet dependable at other times. The entire story is a drag; no surprises, no twists or turns, no substantial character development...nothing, zip, zero. Don't waste your money......it never gets interesting or worth following to the end.

  • A. A. Eheander - My experience is unique and infuriating

I purchased avast! based on my brother's recommendation; He's a big fan of the interface and the boot scan feature. After downloading the file, I ran into an error message (557) during installation. I tried downloading it again from amazon, and then directly from avast, but kept getting the same error message. Frustrated, I contacted amazon, who sent me to avast. Fast forward a bit, the avast tech is remotely controlling my pc so that he can see the issue for himself. He looked up "critical errors" and things like that on my computer, and concluded that the errors needed to be fixed before avast could be installed. He then said "Do you have any friends or family who are microsoft engineers?" I'm thinking to myself "umm... of coarse not!". So he says "Not a problem! We have a team of microsoft engineers who can fix this issue for you!". They quoted me $180 to fix this issue.
