This is a great beginner keyboard, and definitely the best keyboard at this price point. It feels great, is easily portable (I recommend the matching stand and an external sustain pedal), and pretty durable. It has high polyphony, a USB, and lots of bells and whistles... The sound is not great, and the volume doesn't go super high (for performances, for example), but it is the perfect keyboard as a first instrument or as an extra keyboard to complement an acoustic piano. And, if you don't need to perform or record, it can be your only instrument. It's great for practice (the sound is better coming from headphones, in fact). PLUS, if you do need it for a performance, just connect it to a little amp, and problem solved. Voila! The perfect keyboard for any situation-- you just may need an amp for some things. I've gigged with mine all over town, preferring to carry it over my much nicer (and heavier) Privia. I also recommend this model to students. I have two in my studio, and probably never would have bought my fancy Privia in the first place if I had bought one of these first. It's really all I needed.
This is a great monitor for the price. The set up was a little confusing because the instructions (on the outside of the package, no set up instruction sheet was included) was for a different monitor with more cables than the one that I bought. Once I realized that the picture was wrong, I just set it up myself and it was fine. The power button is in a weird place (at the back of the monitor) but it works well and that's the main thing.
Living in an apartment doesn't mean you can't have the decor you love. We use these strips to hang photos and canvas art around our home. They are so easy to use and we haven't had any problems after over 2 years! Love them!
Sturdy construction, and despite the reviews I saw, installation was very easy. I accidentally installed them backwards (they look like an airplane wing and should face that same way) and as the installation manual said, there is a noticeable wind noise if put in backwards. I was able to uninstall and reinstall with the correct orientation in about 15 minutes. The front bar is longer than the back but it is clearly marked on the underside of the bar which is which. End of the day, if you know how to use an Allen Wrench, this is an easy install. Was able to easily fit my Thule roof case to these. Recommend having a step stool while installing.
