  • marmom - Updated from 2011 with no problems.

Wow, lots of bad reviews and experiences here. Made me hesitant to purchase. My husband really wanted to be able to use the mobile app, and have the ability to update transactions via our phones (he uses iPhone, I am using Android), so we decided to risk it. Installed the program (from disk) without any issues on my laptop. Had slight hiccup when installing on his desktop (both are running Windows 7 pro), but after doing a restart ('did you turn it off, and back on again?') it worked fine. The mobile app is awesome. Love that I can enter transactions as they occur, take a picture of a receipt, and he can then pull it up on his computer and see what was purchased.

  • Barrett Bogue - Tropical Storm Hannah do your worst

What better situation to test the durability of a rain jacket than during a tropical storm escorting ladies from their cars to a baby shower?

  • Frank - Amazon busted the cable industry.

Amazon busted the HDMI upcharge market with their AmazonBasics line of HDMI cables. For the longest time retailers took advantage of consumers with the infamous upcharged cables. USB cords cost a manufacturer next to nothing, but would sell for twenty dollars--then came HDTVs and HDMI cords. HDMI cords cost a manufacturer less than three dollars to make, but consumers wouldn't be able to buy them for less than $40.00... which was ridiculous.

  • Kristina - If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

I was not impressed. I did feel different, JITTERY, because of the caffeine in it. I also felt hungrier. I was already losing weight because I had changed the way I was eating, I thought this might be something to add to my routine but I don't think it was worth it.

  • Emily Collins - Loud farts

I purchased these bad boys hoping that what others described would happen. I think a good poop is life changing. Anyways, I was disappointed when I ate first about 15, then about 30, then about the whole bag and didn't have quite the same reaction. I didn't have to poop, my insides didn't fall out, I wasn't stuck on the toilet in agony. What did happen, however, is I did fart louder than I ever thought possible every minute, on the minute, for a good 12 hours. I woke up 30-40 times throughout the night because I thought one of my roommates was being murdered because it sounded like a machine gun was firing nearby. It was to my surprise when I realized that sound was coming from under my comforter and that the machine gun was, in fact, my own butt. If you're really into feeling uncomfortably bloated and having awful noises escape your butt all night and all day throughout work then buy, if not, don't. I actually had to take a real laxative to finally get these bears to make an escape.

  • ReeViewinit - They Work

We live in a VERY humid climate, and I had noticed an odor in our house I couldn't get rid of - especially being sensitive to chemicals. We are scheduled to have mold removal specialists take out some drywall due to a roof leak, so it has been pretty intense in this house. I began wondering if the humidity might be making things worse, so I decided to try DampRid while we had to wait to get started with repairs. Let me say right now... It took that odor out of the house! You notice in the most humid of rooms (bathrooms) that the DampRid "melts" and the liquid accumulates much quicker. (Makes sense.) I am very happy with DampRid and have already purchased replacements so we won't run out.
